Through the Eyes of a Mother

Mother’s Day

If only there were glasses that conveyed vision through the eyes of a mother.

Through the eyes of a mother…neighbors would love neighbors and forgiveness would be extended.

Through the eyes of a mother, potential would be praised. For the focus of a mother’s vision is what’s there…not what’s missing.

Through the eyes of a mother, God’s Light would be obvious. For a mother sees the spark that others fail to see.

If only there were glasses that gave vision through the eyes of a mother. Compassion would displace anger and there would be no enemies.

If you looked to your neighbor, co-worker or stranger on the street with the vision of mother…how then would you view those in need? A homeless person left to the streets. A child without food. A person in need. Through the eyes of a mother, heart-breaking indeed.

Look through the eyes of a mother. We are of the same breath. Love all with compassion and create a world where children are fed and the homeless have a place to sleep. A world without enemies. Come, sit at my table. I will share bread.
